SALT PAPER WORKSHOP

The historical photographic process invented by Henry Fox Talbot in 1834. The print is first salted in a solution of sodium chloride, upon which it is coated with a layer of silver nitrate. Often referred to as the ‘poor man’s platinum print,’ this process produces prints with a delicate tonal scale in deep red-brown tones. Maximum of 12 participants. Cost: R1200 (incl. tuition and all materials) Half-day Workshop
